Sinister: Land of the Free
"yes, so, if we're really looking for oxymorons: "the united states, land of the free" seems pretty apt. " A crass and obtuse statement in my opinon. I'm sure my grandfather would disagree. He left a country with rampant poverty and a fascist government for freedom and a chance for a better life in America. I think he's a little more knowledgeable on the subject than you people. He had no money and no friends - 1 shirt and 1 pair of trousers and has a whole lot more today. He'd get a good laugh listening to you folks. One of the things I hate about this list is this "I hate America" thread that seems to pop up every once in a while. Give me a break. +----------------------------------------------------------------------+ +---+ Brought to you by the undead Sinister mailing list +---+ To send to the list mail sinister@missprint.org.
