Years from now, our grandchildren will ask "Where were you when you found out that Belle and Sebastian won a Brit?" I'll have to make something up, because "goofing off at work" just doesn't cut it in the exciting answer department. I happen to know for a fact that it was my vote that won it for them. I voted on the internet, and after I voted, this huge nudie picture of Mick popped up, with a little cartoon dialog balloon that said "Thanks for winning it for us, sweetie. Print out this picture and bring it 'round to the church for a special surprise from Stu. M and me." My plane for Glasgow leaves in two hours. But what I really want to know is, why wasn't there this much excitement when Belle and Sebastian won the 1998 R.A.Y.A.? For those of you who don't know (for those of you who've been living in a cave!), that stands for Reid's Album of the Year Award, and B&S have won two in a row. So where's my "ecstatic" letter from Richard? Talk about ungrateful! Am I the first person to wonder what Fluffy is doing on the Steps list?

Apart from the answer the question much asked on this list, "what is lo-fi, exactly?" (answer: it's Belle and Sebastian), I can see at least 5 other deliberate mistakes - they obviously haven't been reading the FAQ. See if you can spot them, readers.
