Sinister: Dr Who at Camber Sands
This interesting page tells us that an episode of Colin Baker-era Dr Who was shot at Camber Sands. >The title of the episode, rather mysteriously was "Terror of the Vervoids".
Nah. It was the story after Terror of the Vervoids. The one where its revealed that Michael Jayston is the Doctors evil alter ego. I can't remember what the name of this story was but I bet someone out there knows.
I think it was called The Ultimate Foe and was part of the Trial of a Time Lord story.
The other filming that went on at Camber Sands was 'Carry On - Follow That Camel', way way back in the sixties.
Was that the one with Phil Silvers? Cool. And Linds said:
Dr Who was filmed on Camber Sands? That must have been a big budget production.
Hey, no making fun. They also filmed Dr Who as far afield as Paris, Spain and Lanzerote. And Skaro, of course. I'm kind of hoping someone can correct my Dr Who trivia, because then I won't look quite so sad. How about Stuart for the next Doctor? Isabelle could be his companion and they could have a musical interlude in the middle. Maybe not.
