I just bought Herb Alpert's "Going Places" album in a thrift store (one dollar!) and listening to the song "More and More Amor," there's a trumpet solo that sounds suspiciously like the trumpet solo in "beautiful".
ahhhhhhh....... Herb Alpert!! (sorry, this is yet another reverie for a cheesy popmeister) what a dashing fellow he was (and so well turned out...) I have an album of his with a version of 'talk to the animals' from doctor doolittle on it. Its truly shit in a marvellous way. On the cover there is a photo of herb blowing his horn at a giraffe (ooeer!) who is gazing at his trumpet (double ooerr!). If you look really close, you can just see a currant bun sticking out of the end of his horn. What that man wouldn't do to attract the loving gazes of domesticated animals..... Honey wrote:
