Disposable income isn't something to throw away, thats like saying that you might as well buy one 399p single in virgin as four 99p ones in an independant shop. (And virgin are just as much the corporate whore as new labour, so support students and vote indy - even if most students are too selfish/stupid to realise whats going on. I'm with Sarah if you couldn't tell. But she probably makes more sense.) If I want to buy an album I have to go without protein for weeks I'll have you know.

Realise what's going on you say - and what makes you think that your local "indie" shop's any different from anything else - are they better people? So you say I should vote for my local independent shop as opposed to corporate whores Virgin. Well I've know people who've worked in both these and the people in Virgin don't have to put up with the boss flashing money around, telling everyone about his numerous properties and vehicles and how well off he is, and also don't have to deal with earning a lot less money per hour. It's never a pretty situation mate but it certainly isn't anywhere near the black and white picture you paint it to be. The other thing being that people belting on about New Labour being shite I find preposterous really, yeah, they can't do everything right, but they're sure as fuck the best government that's existed in my lifetime, why do we all convince ourselves that they're all corporate whores! Harold Wilson admitted to his cabinet in the sixties that labour party policy simply financially couldn't work, the fact that the party as whole in the late 90's has finally caught up is something to be admired in my opinion. ....Oops, sorry Paul, forgot... no more political debate... arse.
