It could have been worse. PE for the girls at my old school meant running
around the gym in a rather ridiculous white skirt and red shirt to get
prepared for silly handball games, all of which consisted in several
displays of female power from each of the fattest girls on the smaller ones
- especially myself, glasses on (pre-lenses Era).
