but here's a pink cadillac story: kid i teach told
me just before she left that she nearly got run
down by a pink cadillac on the way to school
once.  it was on the road by Safeway, and it just
clipped her hand.  funny thing is, no-one ever saw
a pink cadillac in the town before or since.
(cadillacs in general are not common in devon).
