Sinister: Tigermilk / Verve etc.

I asked Chris Geddes about the Tigermilk re-release just before last Christmas - at that point, it was going to be released soon, however when I asked him again a couple of months later, he said they had no plans for it to be rereleased. My guess for this, although I didn't ask him and he probably wouldn't admit it anyway is that the non-release of Tigermilk is turning them into minor legends - the interest in the record is a million times what it probably would be were it actually released, so really at the moment I'd say it's a good thing although I'm personally not one for the anal "I've got it and you haven't" garbage, anyway I want it on CD as I'll wear out the record soon. I myself have donated a copy of mine to about half of Edinburgh... I'm sure they'll all still buy it when it finally does come out (and I'm sure it will).

As far as I'm aware, the next single contains at least A Century of Fakers, Le Pastie de la Bourgeousie and Beautiful (interesting to note that ALL these songs were written at least as far back as when Tigermilk came out).

Verve question... You can get the Verve stuff you were asking for easily in the UK - all the initial singles are still being pressed - alternatively, abroad there was an issue of the Verve EP which contains All in the Mind, She's a superstar (short), Gravity Grave (Short), Endless life and Feel. But you're better actually buying the first three singles really, it'll only cost you 12 quid and you'll get more songs (One way to go - live stuff).

Did anyone see Arab Strap support Belle and Sebastian last October at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow? It was OK but amazingly quiet, my friend Tanya told me and my pal Andrew to shutup during it - we were whispering.

Cheers,
	Keith.
