um, my weekly post to sinister...

video was shown on the chart show on saturday. it always used to be
repeated later in the week but it was shown late on saturday night as
well so i think you've missed it if you haven't seen it. check the
radio times though. isobel looks suitably angelic in it...

trembling blue stars single has been delayed (again). release date now
1st december, the same day as the teletubbies single.

susannah, steven, i think this could be the start of something
*beautiful*. keep us informed... <knowing smile...>

cool beans to dave and katrina for giving us first dibs on the
tickets. the cheque's in the post...

the new mogwai lp is rather good, spent most of today listening to it.
kinda pretty in parts, pretty with an underlying sense of menace which
occasionally rears its head. and aiden sings on it too, which was
nice. both mogwai and arab strap remix the david holmes single.

bought the simon and garfunkel box on saturday. been meaning to buy
the greatest hits for a while now and got paid on friday so... really
nice sunday afternoon music. really doesn't go as a soundtrack to
goldeneye on the n64 though (which is what i was doing on sunday
afternoon).

oh, laughed like a drain at the fast show's hungarian  cartoon
piss-take on friday.

and the thing on teletext on ch4 this morning, page 482 or something
had 'oh sebastian, went too far again...' and '...crashed his car in
the rain' running along the bottom of it. the other sub-pages had
lines from the byrds and the beatles.
