Sinister: musical argument

in response to eeyore's question about ska, mostly local bands are popular
here.  there's one called mustard plug, one called 311 (three-eleven), fat
amy, also the might mighty bosstones, reel big fish, and other more
well-known bands.  there's plenty of no doubt, but that is listened to by
what my roommates and i call the abercrombie poster child.  are you
familiar with abercrombie & fitch?  it's an
oh-please-let-me-look-like-everyone-else kind of clothing store.  many of
its customers are also part of the
i-wanna-be-a-hippie-but-my-daddy-is-rich subset, with a large proportion
of alternateens.  (aren't labels great?)

aren't you all just dying to visit grand rapids yet?

thinking about this town really pisses me off--i'm really not this bitchy
all the time.  please forgive the crazy ranting.
