Sinister: A century of people who like to drop names of unreleased songs

Do anyone know if it´s a real book B&S are singing about in "A century of
fakers"?
The one that´s dedicated to " a century..", that is.

On the top ten lists:
Are there really a point in naming songs which only have been heard live?
Of course "Ease your feet in the sea" is a great song, but it won´t make
the summed up list any good if just three persons (or whatever, just trying
to make my point) among us have heard it.
I think we just should name songs on the released records.
But now it´s too late, I guess (just waiting for the sarcastic answer here).
