I'm for this idea, but to throw a spanner in the works,
wouldn't there be a problem with foreign currency, cheques
and suchlike?. Maybe only a third of the listers are UK
resident (and possibly of a lurking persuasion)
and small amounts from abroad may be impractical.
I think we'll have to work something out since, I regard
David & Katrina as an integral part of the list, almost as
important as Paul (Mitchell). They must be saved!

PS. - The best way to conceal your coins is to cut coin-shaped
 holes in an envelope-sized piece of cardboard then tape coins
 into the holes. Post the lot and the Postperson won't have to 
 worry about stray metal discs destroying the sorting machines.
