Quite agree - the arguments against bootlegging are almost entirely centred
(rightly so) around protecting the earnings of the people who have done the
work. This case is weakened somewhat when the bootlegged item in fact no
longer provides any earnings and - if unreleased - is unlikely to ever
again. It's even lamer when you consider the fact that those fanatics who
are responsible for the bootlegging in this case would be more than happy
to pay (over) the full price for a proper copy.
