Sinister: Other Music

People should give a listen to Built To Spill (the most recent LP is amazing),
Eric Matthews, and Eliot Smith. All from the Pacific Northwest, they have left
the whole grunge nonsense behind and made fascinating, beautiful music. Matthews
(both albums) has a very Pet Sounds feel to it, with occasional orchestra and
horns, Smith has a similar voice but without the lush feel of Matthews. Built to
Spill is just plain great.
