greetings people

my my the list is active at the moment...
i've just waded my way through about 100 e-mails from you lot, so i've
decided to inflict my selection of tear-inducing ballads upon you.


mazzy star - fade into you (again!)
b&s - boy done wrong again, you made me forget my dreams
madder rose - while away, swim
primal scream - you're just dead skin to me ..*sob*
galaxie 500 - spook
mojave 3 - love songs on the radio, you're beautiful, etc...
boo radleys - lazarus, spaniard
slowdive - shine, altogether
telescopes - you set my soul (my shoegazing days are haunting me again)
trembling blue stars - i'm tired, i've tried

i'm sure there are more - none come to mind at the moment though
i think almost all of my favourite songs are sad - i don't know why, but i
can't get as much out of a happy, uplifting song as i can out of a
heart-rendingly sad, beautiful one - i'm not sure what that says about me -
maybe i should get out more - but never mind.
