Youuuuu...yabby yabby youuuuuu.....youuuuuu...flabby flabby youuuuuu.
Buy the Yabby LP Peter, if you can stretch to the price. I don't have it,
but am familiar with the LP 'Conquering Lion' which is included in its
entirety I believe. Beee-autiful. 'Heart of The Congos' is another absolute
classic roots album, which I cannot recommend highly enough to you fine
folks.
Talking of reggae, the saddest song I can recall (apart from perhaps 'Brass
Buttons', 'A Song For You' and '$1000 Wedding', all by Gram Parsons) is a
reggae tune, 'The Long Way' by the marvellous Junior Byles. Top drawer, I
can tell you. Oooh, I'm filling up just thinking about it.

Fans of bassical music might do well also to listen to the new Ninja Tune
compilation, which glories in the delightful title of 'Funkungfusion'. It's
a doozy, as they say.

On a more serious note... Rod Begbie wrote:

Um, my guess is that I'm not the only one who was troubled and offended by
the use of the phrase 'paki shop'....Rod, I would not suggest that you are
being deliberately or consciously racist in this post, but you should be
more bloody careful with the way you use language. 'Paki shop' is racist
language and has no place on this mailing list. Enough said, I hope.
