the next hour or two.  two issues old, and already it's not as funny as it
used to be.  i'll spare you the full blurb, but here's the short

i think that admitting to owning a tape of this album would be more
controversial than admitting liking the spice girls, but it's 'smash' by
'the offspring'.

ooh!  i know that one, but can't place it for the life of me.  heathers?
my uni yearbook entry had questions for "in ten years time i would like to
be..." and "in ten years time i will probably be..."  my answers were
"living off the royalties of my wife, sporty spice" and "31.  or dead."

which raises all kinds of metaphysical questions.  did i spend my teenage
years building up a collosal sleaze score?  i think we should be told...

on a less flippant point, apologies to any offended by my use of racist
language.  not at all intentional -- i paused before typing it, but
definitely not for long enough.  believe me, i'm the least racist guy on
the planet.
