this is one of those replies to every single thing anyone has mentioned in
the last year posts, so have fun. um, first off i bought gregory's girl
yesterday and saw it for the first time. i liked it, and it was cute,
though i would hesitate to call it the best movie in the universe. i think
it's one of those movies that get's better the more you see it, like
heathers. i really liked the dancing on the hillside part.

um, i liked the griffin and sabine books. but at the ending, it's
ambiguous. i think they found a place that didn't really exist, a sort of
neutral ground between time and space and met there. i like thinking that
they just stayed together, in a place away from normal society. another
good book is the venetian's wife by bantock. i also read the egyptian
jukebox, but it's kind of boring. oh well.

i got chickfactor yesterday, and the interviews with isobel and sarah are
wonderful. i also really liked the neil hannon interview. so it gets the
megan lehar seal of approval (and we're talking serious prestige here).

um, that's all i can think of. ok.

oh, the pulp album is wonderful! don't listen to what the poopieheads
said, i think it may end up being my favorite!
