Here's my little contribution to the sad song debate...
Radiohead - Street Spirit
Gorky's - Sun Moon Star, or Star Moon Sun, something like that - my eyes are
usually too full of tears to read the case properly
Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Stones - Mother's Little Helper - fills me with despair for the future
Otis Redding - I've Been Loving You Too Long
Suede - The 2 Of Us/The Living Dead - in fact, most of Sci-Fi
B&S - Stars Of Track And Field/Seeing Other People - I suppose SOP may seem
quite uplifting to a lot of people, but if you have experienced one of those
shitty nearly-there relationships, they are downright tragic
  That's all I can think of for the moment, so I'll scurry off back to
LurkLand - a quick "hi" and welcome to Rory, and I'm sure I'll see you at
Easter...
