Sinister: Right then...

Now that Tag has pissed off to Sweden, I feel it would be a good time to
revive an old Sinister tradition - gossiping about people behind their
backs! I tried it when Paul went to France, but no one took any notice. Any
takers this time around? I'm only joking of course.

I have a funny feeling no one's even reading this, except our friends in
Japan and Thailand, who presumably don't celebrate Easter. Which reminds me
of the saddest song of all time ever: There is a Green Hill Far Away.

My initiation into the world of reggae continues apace. After the dizzying
heights of Yabby You and The Congos, Horace Andy feels like a bit of a
letdown. Hopefully I'll get over it, it's always difficult to judge on first
listens, but it seems to lack the imposing authority of Yabby You and
friends, and the yearning plaintive quality of The Congos' beautiful
singing. Makes me want to be repatriated. On the plus side, there's a track
called "Ital Vital" that has something of a Pigeon Street vibe to it due to
the prominent use of syn-drums. So my question for reggae-ologists
everywhere is: What could possibly top Yabby You and The Congos?

Yay! Next week I'm (hopefully) going to the Pyrenees! Of course I'll be
keeping my eyes peeled for any sign of that bloodygreat St Bernard dog we
all know and love.

Peace List!

Peter
