    HEFNER are our newest signings and have been in the studio in Scotland with Tony Doogan of Belle and Sebastian fame. Sounding like Belle and Sebastian and the Violent Femmes all mixed up with Palace, Hefner are set to capture heart and souls. The album, Breaking God’s Heart will be out 15th June, preceded by two singles, Pull yourself together [20th April] and Love will destroy us in the end [18th May], though the first release on Too Pure will be a 5 track 10” ep entitled The Hefner Soul. Darren also has a short story in BOA, a fanzine which you should get hold of in any case for the sheer amount of brilliant records reviewed by Gayle Harrison.
