How and why and when and where I became obsessed with Belle and Sebastian

I first heard B&S on a tape my friend Jeremy made for me.  I liked them. 
Then I heard a few more songs on a sampler.  I liked them too.  Then I
tried to see B&S in NYC.  I could not get in to the sold-out show, of
course.  Little did I know that so many other people were crazy about
them.  I was not yet totally obsessed, you see.
Then one night I had a dream about horses.  I woke up singing "Judy and
the dream of horses."  I couldn't get the song out of my head.  I went out
and bought If You're Feeling Sinister.  And you know, I have listened to
it every day since.
Right now I am waiting for my friend Jeremy to make me a copy of
Tigermilk.  He promised he would.  He told me he'd have it for me in a
week (this was two weeks ago!)  Needless to say I am about to die of
anticipation.  Jeremy told me not to call him every day and bug him about
it.  So I have faxed him a message that said nothing but "TIGERMILK!!!"; I
have sent a messenger with an envelope bearing the note "TIGERMILK NOW!!!"
and I have called him, oh, about every other day.  you know dear
sinisterers perhaps you could give him a call too.. no, just kidding.  I'm
sure I will eventually get my copy of Tigermilk.
