Sinister: a great idea!

What a rubbish week it's been! I've been poorly, had shitloads of work to do
and I've started following people around by e-mail, like a sad bastard. How
low can I go? And who can I turn to in my hour of darkness, in my time of
need? Oh Lord, grant me vision, oh Lord, grant me...wait a minute...if only
there were such a thing as the Stuart Murdoch Problem Box! What a marvellous
thought! We all know that Stuart enjoys hearing about people's problems, but
not everyone knows where he lives, or has got his mobile phone number. Hmmm.
Why not install one of those jazzy window things in the fanclub website, so
that people from Middlesborough to Malaysia, from Wisconsin to
Wolverhampton, can simply fill in the box with their problems and send it
off to David, who could print them out and save them and then give them to
Stuart at the next band rehearsal? Nothing could be simpler. Stuart could
then answer each one by hand or read them out loud to the Song Snake, who
could churn out some top songs so that Stuart could solve a few problems for
people on the next LP. Once Shockwave is installed, a little animated Stuart
could welcome people to his Problem Box, saying, "What's the matter?" or
"Don't worry. Would you like a coffee or something?"

There, that's my idea and I think it's a winner. Come on, David, you could
do it tonight instead of going to see The Snow Patrol.
