But anyway, one of the other people saw me
>and said "That's not the kind of behaviour you expect from someone in a
>Belle and Sebastian T-Shirt." I'm not quite sure what he did expect, maybe
>for all B&S fans to be really quiet and sober at all times or something.
>It's like, only twee people can listen to twee music, and anyone who does
>anything raucous must listen to raucous music.

This is why I wanted to buy the Cappadonna album, in the hope that some of
it would rub off, or at least that people would think I was dead hard and
had showers with ladies, like on Wu-Tang Forever. Another of the main
reasons I wanted to buy it was so that I could call everyone big wusses for
buying puffy Massive Attack and making it number one in the hot one hundred.
The only trouble is, I prefer Massive Attack to Cappadonna, but I'm sure
I'll get over it, like all those people who get married in the hope that
they'll learn to love their spouse. At least in books. And I don't wear my
Belle and sebastian t-shirt in public. People have to undress me if they
want to see it.

There, an unusually erotic post from me. Sorry Cliff.

Peter

PS: Thanks very much to Oooon for the marvellous B&S article from sunny
