Sinister: let's make some plans (of a dc nature)

hi there everyone,

you know, I was thinking...we really don't talk about picnics like we used
to. I miss the magic. I think we can get it back. 

just wanted to drop a final reminder that plans for the dc b&s barbeque
grillfest sat. may 9, 4pm (till late, show up when you can), are full steam
ahead, everybody but everybody is welcome to attend, bring friends, don't
be shy! I hope those of you who mentioned coming from out of town are still
up for the trek, if you need a place to crash there's certainly couch/floor
space with your name on it. call or e-mail for directions.

that's 1853 monroe st. in mt. pleasant. board games aplenty, veggie and
non-veggie grills, an abundance of beer and springy cocktails (pink
madonnas made happily upon request), plenty of pop (music and soda!) and
laid-back hanging out. or the rumored drunken orgy. up to you. we encourage
you to bring board games and/or food of a b&s nature to feed a bunch of
people. megan and I have started a list of b&s-related foods that we can
assure you will already be in attendance, people bringing stuff with much
snappier names than these (it won't be hard I'll wager) will get surprise
groovy door prizes. come to think of it, so will everyone else.  featured
bbq fest foods include:

pam's hang-your-head-in-shame-and-cry-your-life-away onion skewers
angelfood shining fair cake
notdogs on wheels (a vegetarian delicacy in these parts)
megan's superfly deelish (you made me forget my) beans

and of course lots of devilled eggs and ten thousand pounds of potato salad
which we couldn't think of clever names for right off, but which are the
backbone of any respectable bbq.
