Well, I've just managed to trudge through all 140 mails from the last
few days. I'm afraid mails were flying into the trash bin like sawdust
off a log, though I usually read each happy bunny's comments.
Firstly, I must explain my recent abseence from this list, as well as
#sinister for the past week. You see, I was spending my time
entertaining Miss Magnetic Megan [Lehar]. We had a pretty eventful time.
Here are some highlights:

	1. Driving in the industrial wasteland of South Charleston when a large
man-sized bird leapt in front of my car. We believe it to have been a
blue heron.
	2. Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Could have been scary, but
luckily my uncle Dave wasn't there.
	3. Seeing Fugazi play in my hometown. They are the first band of any
repute to have ever played here. See, to those of you who think I only
like P!O!O!, you're dead wrong. They were brilliant.
	4. Discovering 2 more of my friends from high school were now B&S fans.
One almost came to DC. That brings the total to 4, only 1 of which was
converted by me.
	5. Playing with my dad's new digital camera. Megan took a photo of me
that resembles some sort of EP cover. Perhaps I should send it to the
photo page.
	6. Receiving a Field Mice single that Megan bought for me at the WFMU
record fair. I am a lucky lad.

But now the Magnetic Megan is back in Magnetic NYC, so I shall resume
with the normal chitchat. Firstly, my favorite round thing would be a
record. I got a swank new record player and receiver the other day. My
record player is so sleek and understated. Much nicer than my old one.
It's sad that all my B&S releases are only on CD, but I'll be okay.
The Sha-La-La list has stopped sending out invitations, as we've
reached our limit. I'm sorry and I'm sure Pete is too, but we're on a
budget, sadly. Not all of us have unknowing employers ;) All of you who
want can observe the happenings on the archive, located at www.twee.net.
You'll see that, much as some would have you believe, we're not
elitists.

Kevan, you'll be pleased to know that upon reading Struan's mail, I was
moved to awaken a drowsy Magnetic Megan to let her know the good news.
Dirty Dream #2 is her favorite song off of the new album, if not of all
B&S, so of course she is already hard at work. Half the filming is done.
Hopefully it will feature a certain spiky orange-haired friend of mine
from my all-ages punk rawk show-going days. I don't believe she will be
shagging anyone, but I expect it to be smashing nonetheless.
And about Robin Stout's question of Mick Cooke and brass playing. He
brought his french horn with him to DC, and played it there. I asked him
about it, I think he said he'd picked it up recently, and to my
knowledge he didn't know any other brass instruments. He did seem to be
playing guitar in a song in NYC, though. I think someone should pick up
flute.
Also, this post was written under the influence of the Jasmine Minks, I
hope that doesn't bother Brad too much.
