Sinister: These are a few of my favourite things - can I do them all at once?

In the spirit of the extraordinary crisis of communication that just
flared up between JJ and MileEndGirl, I'd like to throw my own
confused hat into the ring:

I too am lost with this B&S/cookery connection.  A while ago a Food
and Drink piece in one of the Scottish papers cocked a snook at "Belle
and Sebastian-loving food pornographers".  I wondered if this meant I
was missing a trick by failing to combine food, masturbation and my
favourite band in some ingenious way.  Does anyone have any ideas how
it could be done?  If you hurry I might be able to relate my
experiences to Yorkshire TV.

Snippy? I have no idea what snippy is but it sounds fantastic.  Is it
an American thing or has it just passed me by?  Like twin towns, which
I'd never heard of until a few years ago.  Snippy.  Snippy.  I like it
so much.
