Sinister: (no subject)

hallo!

well this is my first time post...i have also been lurking about for a while. 
i must agree and say that you all are a very clever bunch, and i have much to
learn about being smutty and witty. but for now ill just be the same old chap
i always am. 

on a musical note (ha, get it?) ill tell you guys a little about my music. one
side of me is really into the hippie music (dave matthews band, phish, ben
harper, ekoostik hookah...) and the other side is starting to get more and
more into the indie scene. so far ive really only been exposed to belle and
sebastian and elliott smith. but dont worry im gettin there. i have realaudio
so if anyone tells of any bands they think i should have a listen to i would
be more than happy to hear of them. some of my other favorite bands
are...smashing pumpkins, radiohead, R.E.M, the beatles, and tom waits. and i
have recently discovered gomez...which is my new obsession. im sort of a mix
between hippie and indie, but on some of my hardcore hippie days ill probably
talk like an earthchild, so you guys will just have to put up with me :)

and as for c.s. lewis and madeline d'engle? i appreciate their writing but ive
only read the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe and a wrinkle in time so far.
im not very big on reading. probably cos the only thing i ever have time to
read are the sections in my history textbook. but another one of my favorite
authors is j.d. salinger. hes prettty clever. 

well i guess thats the end of my first letter, not much else to say really. oh
yeah...whats with that list crush thing? ahh i dont really understand it...but
then again i dont understand a lot of things :) well...im probably rambling on
like a bore now so...
