darling list,

things which made this young girl sigh on receipt of TIJAMRS ce matin:

1/ stuart sings 'lucid when i'm writing songs' not ..'riding buses' :(
2/ no twiddly vocal on 'feeling strange' or 'rock and roll' :(

so i prefer the session version definitely.

BUT things which made me smile:

1/ "interminable 3 chord break" written in the sleeve notes
2/ isobel's vocal on "The Gate" proving her worthy once and for all of
lesley jo's (and everyone else's) adoration (though the tune itself is not
so hot)
3/ the whole of "slow graffiti" - oscar wilde reference, right?
4/ getting the Cd in the post in the first place. B&S over breakfast on a
monday morning! what could be better?

something that grabbed me the other day: heather's post about the
earthquake. what if it actually WAS wild horses galloping both above and
below your house? how cool would that be? much more exciting than a mere
earth tremor i think. sorry, "i'll admit i'm feeling strange".

for the record, i went fully clothed as cathy from wuthering heights to
the fancy dress party - how dare you think i was being suggestive, any of
you? (especially mark 'rude boy' casarotto). :)
