Sinister: favourite rather than best

i don't think listing which records you enjoyed
most this year is what i would call a
competition?  surely you discriminate for your own
listening pleasure?  or do you love every record
released this year equally?
now magazines with headlines like 'best 100 albums
of the year' well they are silly because those are
really just their favourites-a word i am friends
with.
