humble pie, everyone:

dear david,

of course, i do love the 'proper' version of TEAJAMS and it is only
the unavoidable attachment to the first heard version that makes me
complain. it is a wonderful song in all its forms and i just feel very
lucky to be able to hear variations on a theme at all. i didn't mean
to be snotty or purist or whatever - heaven forbid. b&s will be the
soundtrack to my life whether they do twiddly vocals or not, never
fear!
