Sinister: musician, shmusician

first off, i just want to tell the world (well at least the list) that
lorraine is an amazing musician.  she has the voice of an angel, you've
never heard anything like it.  it's amazing.

(ok lorraine stop blushing now.)

I'm a musician too.  i play bass, guitar, and i sing.  (shamless plug:  my
band is playing next wed. 12/16 at brownies in nyc, we're called walk
proudly, please please please come see us if you can) and i'm also trying
to start a little side project with my beefriend called Apiary (that would
be a place where bees are kept.)

brad and i talked about starting a band with each other even though we've
never met.  but i heard his tape.  he's real good too.  don't let his
swaggering fool you, he makes sensitive pop songs like s.merritt.  (ok brad
stop banging your head against the wall now)  and xavier, I heard a tape of
his band, clock strikes thirteen.  they're really good also.  what a
talented bunch of people you are.

ok I am typing badly today because I had a splinter in my finger and it's
got a band-aid on it now and it's impairing my typing and possibly my
reasoning skills as well.  and my sense of humor.  bah.  hey I had egyptian
food last night and it was swell.  we got to smoke tobacco out of a huge
three foot tall hookah and I knocked it over and almost started a fire.
doh!
