Sinister: It's already Thursday, and soon it'll be Friday night

Sorry I've been away, boys and girls, but I'm currently on the run. You
might remember that last time I was here, I threatened to spill the beans on
the mysterious cabal that is Sha La La. I shoulda known they wouldn't let me
get away with it.... When I got home that night I was horrified to discover
the severed head of a My Little Pony in my bed. The next day I received a
threatening letter, composed with individual letters cut out of old copies
of Bunty magazine. And then the men in the black anoraks started
appearing...

So I'll make this quick. As Mr Miller helpfully informed you the other day,
this Friday at 7.30pm  is the Sinister Xmas party at the Poetry Cafe on
Betterton Street in Covent Garden, London. Everyone is welcome. It's gonna
be a fiver to get in, which is a bit more than usual, but there will be
plentiful food provided. Contrary to Petula Pumpkin-Wumpkin's suggestion,
this will not consist of beans on toast, but will be a grand affair arranged
by my friend Edward the Italian Chef. As if this wasn't enticing enough, I
can reveal that we will have a guest of honour.... The other day I received
a message from a certain student of Bangor University, confirming that he
would attend. Yes, Richard North himself will there. The very thought of the
young knight Northy finally meeting his Jedi Master, Tag, gets me all
a-quiver. It will surely match the moment Keith met Roddddd at Shepherd's
Bush for poignancy.
