Hi folks,

First and foremost hugs and kisses to the New York listees I met on
Saturday, and I *really* hope that none of you picked up the nasty cold
that had reduced me to a croaking wheezing wreck.

The up side of being ill whilst on holiday is that you get to spend a lot
of your time watching adverts in your hotel room.  There was one in
particular that I just have to repeat here for your delectation:

Small girl runs grinning into shot.

Girl: "Mummy! Daddy! Come see!"

Parents follow girl to living room and discover that it is full of
christmas gifts, electrical appliances, a car, etc.

Father: "Those must have been some cookies you left Santa!"
Girl: "I didn't leave him cookies... I left him cheese"

Cuts to picture of various cheeses.

Voiceover: "Behold the power of cheese!"
