Sinister: Major Vs Indie!

Happy Holidays to everyone!!!
A quick word on the indie debate. Indie labels are just as capable of
ripping off  artists as majors!!! Several "INDIE" labels, including one
whose motto is "fuck corporate rock", are notorious for not paying
artists!!! As for the majors, alot of times when you hear of an artist
being dropped by a label, it coincides with a turnover of staff at the
label, and their supporters are no longer there to help them. Other
times it simply comes down to economics! Any indie, or major cannot
afford to put out albums that cost 10 times more to make, than they
earn. Sometimes the bands are to blame for their extravagances. Creation
dropped MBV, their top act, simply because they couldn't afford them!
Not because they didn't care!
I am neither a proponent of majors, or indies. They can both be evil at
times. It just depends on whose the captain of the ship!
To all the mighty cynics out there, its real easy to be critical of
those out there doing it, while you sit in your parents basement!!!
