Sinister: B&S up for best newcomer at the Brits

Just heard on 97-99 BBC Radio One FM that B&S has/have (is "B&S 
singular or plural?) been nominated for Best Newcomers at the Brit 
awards.

This seems to be a very strange definition of Newcomer, but then 
didn't Pulp win a few years back, after being in existence for about 
100 years?

So, does that mean that the boys and girls will be along for the 
awards ceremony? Maybe they'll be asked to play - perhaps doing a 
FatBoySlim medley, or a "duet" with the Spice Girls. Or maybe not.

Ooh, isn't it exciting?
