The track they performed on the Brats telly show last week was STUNNINGLY
great.

Does Steve Lamacq still have anything to do with Deceptive?  ISTR him
denying anything more than a #100 investement many moons ago.

My money's on this year's Embrace - the band that the inkies go on about
despite hardly releasing anything.

Embrace got the f---ing "Best Newcomer" award at the Brats.  Let's guess
just how high up the "worst act" shortlist Oasis were, despite them being
one and the same.  At least the Lo-fidelity Allstars and BRA got some kind
of recognition - even if it was from the writers, and not the readers.
