Umm.. someone a while ago said it was slang for <whispers> semen, which was at
once surprising and plausible. I rather liked that idea. But I'm starting to
think it was a wind up. The only time I've found it used on the WWW in a
sexual context was in a gay erotica short story that was actually about having
sex with a tiger, so that doesn't really count.

There is a well known (in some parts) energy bar called Tiger Milk produced by
Weider Inc. (couldn't immediately find a pack shot to direct you all towards).
It comes in Peanut Butter Crunch and Peanut Butter & Honey varieties.

A book about the history of Nicaraguan women contained the phrase "Tiger's
Milk" somewhere in the title, but I somehow doubt this was Stuart Murdoch's
inspiration.

The most common meaning has already been mentioned: it's an alcoholic drink.
This is the meaning ("some sort of liquor") given by a WWW guide to slang found
in hard-boiled detective novels. But it seems to be used in at least two
related contexts. It is the name given to a particular cocktail I found on a
Danish website. And (this is presumably what Daniel's friend remembers) it is
also the name of a rather nasty sounding cheap white wine. See the follwing
story, from Off License News, for details.

"TELTSCHER UPDATES TIGER MILK PACK".
Slovenian sweet white wine Tigrovo Mileko - better known in the UK as Tiger
Milk - is being given a new look for the 1993 vintage by supplier Teltscher
Bros.
New graphics on front and back labels, featuring a tiger, will be found on
75cl, 1-litre and 1.5-litre bottles from this month, and on 3-litre boxes later
this summer.
Tiger Milk was launched in the UK in the 1960s. The wine is harvested in
Slovenia's Lutomer Estate vineyards, and is made from the Ranina grape variety.
Sue Doble, marketing manager at Teltscher, said the move would help strengthen
the brand's sales in the UK light wine market.
"We are delighted with the new updated look for the label and confident that
the brand will continue to take share in the light wine market, as its sweet,
fruity, easy-drinking taste appeals to a wide consumer base," said Doble.

So - whoever it was. Back up your perverted claims.

Yours in cock fun,
