This is one those frequently asked questions that I frequently don't
answer, but today I'm trying to make up for being rude again.
Nick Drake sounds a bit like Belle and Sebastian, but not much. His voice is
a bit like Stuart Murdoch's, but rich and full and in tune. He also played
guitar in a way likely to impress elderly people. The lyrics are completely
different, considerably less "fun" than B&S. To be quite honest I don't
think I've ever listened much to his lyrics, apart from "Black Eyed Dog".
There is a nice compilation called "Way to Blue", which must be mid-price
now. His mum and dad were called Rodney and Molly, and his sister is out of
"Crossroads".

I hope that is of some help.

Peter
