Sinister: stuff & nonsense - no really

Whilst perusing a virtual record shop - www.cdnow.com - yesterday, i was
looking at the (hideously overpriced) B&S CD's when it suggested i
'click here' for related B&S music.... are you ready for this.
Apparently I should be buying the new LP's by Bob Dylan, Paul Simon,
Sarah McClachlan, The Verve, Radiohead, & Sleater-Kinney. So there you
are conclusive proof, if proof be needed, that B&S fans are not sniffly,
cardie-wearing, mopers but are in fact mid 70's folkie throwbacks who
follow the crowd & like a bit of lo-fi punky business now & then. SPOT
ON....

Michael York was Manimal & it was huge pants, make no mistake

The Ian Brown album is ummm.. i'm going to have to say OK. It's 100
times the seahorses (not difficult) & full of good ideas. It just seems
to sacrifice tunes for trying too hard to be interesting. I guess i was
just hoping for a new 'Standing Here' to get me through the
millennium....

The Add N to X LP is wonderful - if you're still thinking of buying the
Air LP. Don't! buy this instead.....

The girls PE teacher at our school was called Miss Mountain until she
got married & became Mrs Hill. I belm ye not!

Has anyone in the US heard of a band called 'The 3'o clock'? Apparently,
they were a huge influence on the fledgling Roses...

Um. I think i'd better go now. sorry...

Paulus the wood-gnome

....flying back to the US next week on Virgin....yipeee ;-]
