Southern California (well, he actually said LA, but I think I can expand
on that without error), and with IYFS in it, there's no doubt in my

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Clem Lane and I live in Los Angeles.
I'm married and have a 3 1/2 month daughter(her favorite tune is
"Expectations" by the way) and have spent the past year madly making tapes of
TigerMilk for my American B&S fanatic friends. I also heard about this list
through the Guided by Voices list. I am a FANATIC about B&S and would be happy
to help out any Stateside listers with a copy of TigerMilk(trades only!!!). I
obsessively listen to U.K. lo-fi(shouts to The Male Nurse, Mogwai, and a host
of others) and love the Sarah-Shinkansen labels(Trembling Blue Stars ARE TOP).
My favorite other bands are GBV, The Brilliant Corners, and The Wedding
Present. I lived in London for several years and thanks to my good friend
Delia at Rough Trade (she's in two GREAT bands:Baby Birkin and The Family Way
- Londoners should check them out)and Rich at Amulet Distribution, I have all
the 7" vinyl a Brit-loving Yank in LA could want.

So from my vantage point as a lurker for the past week, this list looks
terrific.
Thanks for all the information on the Manchester shows-now how many of you
kids made tapes?

cheers,
clem
