hello from connecticut, (neat name, huh?)
First time, long time (talk-radio reference which isn't actually
true, since im by no means a long time listee, a week or so actually. but in
these fast times, a week is quite a long time).
Enjoyed all the talk of the shows in Manchester, especially the
stories of the left banke cover and 'in a nutshell' being sung by isobelle.
This band can't really get much cooler. pop smarts, wonderful lyrics and soul.
The search for the young soul rebels is finally over.
Anyway to my question/request. I'll be in the greater Glasgow area in
about a weeks time and would appreciate any helpful suggestions as to what to
see, where to shop, where to eat, drink, and especially where to record shop.
And how has the weather been? I'll be in London as well, so any hints or must-
sees there would be welcome.
Oh, has the toursit board of Glasgow set up any B&S tour routes like the
Beatles have in Liverpool? just wondering.
                          bye for now, love
                                Carrick
