Sinister: Inconsistency

All these discussions of B&S being horrible on Saturday and brilliant on Sunday remind
me of the current state of Bob Dylan's shows. Die-hard Dylan fans will admit that
going to see a Dylan show these days is a risk: you have as good of a chance to see
a horrible show as you do to see a great one. And yes, that might be kind of annoying,
but it's kind of fun in a way. Personally, I'd rather see someone do two entirely
different shows, one bad and one great, than to see a band do two shows exactly the
same way, both decent.

B&S don't owe us anything. If you don't like it, don't go. You might be saving
your money by missing a crappy show, but you might get your money's worth and get
a great show. If we wanted it the same way every time, we'd all stay at home and
listen to the album.

By the way, I'm enjoying the argument about professionalism. There've been some
great points made. I hope that one person who's tired of the argument hasn't scared
anyone off. It seems that a discussion on a email list can't go for longer than
two days without someone writing in all caps about how SICK they are of it.

Just a few observations,
    ~Reid

Oh, by the way, if we're compiling a list of celebs who are B&S fans, we'd best add
Jarvis Cocker.
