You're right there: didn't Morrissey use to make a habit of namechecking
all sorts of bands, all of which then vanished without trace, like
bradford (best-known moment: skin storm)? the only band who ever had any
real popularity post-mozzplug were the primitives (ah!) who still went
down the dumper after a year or two.
still, those were the days when people took any notice of the man: nobody
bothers now, and i can't really say i blame them - he hasn't done anything
worthwhile for ages now. but do you remember any of the other bands he
memtioned?
