Sinister: Only tangential B&S references, but jolly good entertainment all the same...

Hallo peeps! 'Tis Auntie Lizzie here once again to brighten up
thy day. And you'd better appreciate it, or else...

Reasons To Be Cheerful:

a) I am now able to make copies of Tigreleche for those as wish it (may
blessings rain down twice daily at the shrine of Sarah, Our Lady of the
Stereo) and also of the Radio 1 session tracks in all their glory. If
anyone wants a copy email me: I may even do you a nice laser-printed
cover with a twee Manga picture on it, if you're nice to me. Repeat
after me: "Steve Lamacq is a twat and a rotter of the first water and
should have his tongue ripped out" (not really - I do not advocate the
use of violence to resolve any situation, kiddies). Then his
freakishly-deep voice would ring out nay more o'er the closing bars of
many a fine session tune, nor would we be subjected to "Hear it on The
Evening Session! On Radio One!! First!!! (**EXPLOSION**)" every 12½
minutes of the program. Silence Is Golden...

b) I bought "The Esteemed Orange Juice" best of compilation t'other day
for £3.99 in Our Price. £3.99! Pearls before swine or what? Not that
I consider myself or any other frequenter of the fine chain-store to be
of the porcine persuasion, it's just that this seems a fantashtic
bargain, don't ye think? Ah, the gentle, soothing strains of Rip It Up
and Consolation Prize...

c) Rialto's new single Untouchable is out this week (Hurrah!) and a
finer bunch of Roxy Music obsessives it would be harder to imagine. And
the lead singer's got a better voice than Bryan Ferry. And a better
fringe. Wow! Two drummers! Wonders will never cease, eh?

d) I saw yon fillum Small Faces on the box the other night, and a very
fine piece of cinema it is too. Teenage reminiscences of vicious
youth-gang warfare in 60's Glasgee? Yes please! Ooh, Joseph
Macfaydden...wash that boy and bring him to my tent.

Now, sadly, all good things must come to an end. Tata.

             Lots of something,
                         Liz.

O life is a glorious cycle of song:
A medley of extemporanea;
And love is a thing that can never go wrong,
And I am Marie of Roumania.
