Sinister: other sounds(no B&S)

Hello,
As we are on the subject......
I have been listening to a bit of Northern Soul !! Well, to be honest, I
know very little about it, so I went out and bought the "Wigan Casino
Story" Volumes 1 and 2. Both are excellent.

Maybe I should buy more. But buy what ? I don`t fancy going to seedy
holiday camps and paying 100 quid for a single (or spinning on my back
either to be honest !). Anyone have any great insights into the murky
world of Northern Soul ?
