Sinister: UK Expressions and Spandau Ballet/Killing Zoe?

I'm familiar with some UK expressions, but what does the term 'licking
railings' in LLPJ mean? Also, in the Trash Can Sinatras 'Main
Attraction' there is a line that goes 'off to the trough and cubicle to
get pharmaceutically full of yourself' or something like that. What
does 'trough and cubicle' refer to? The restroom perhaps -- I thought
the term for that was cludgie.
I saw Killing Zoe the other day and was shocked to see a somewhat
familiar face. Is that the same Gary Kemp that was in Spandau Ballet?
It hit me when he was talking about dixieland music and how it has it's
own culture.
