For the record, Matador's parent company is the behemoth Capitol Records
and to find out about the arrangement between the two, check out

explanation for all those concerned.

Speaking of Matador, I think it would be sublime to see Pavement and
Belle and Sebastian tour together.  Let's put the pressure on.
