I know the feeling - when I got home from my first day at work on Monday,
I was feeling absolutely shattered (maybe 'cos of the 4 mile bike ride
home... I'm really desparately unfit at the moment...), so I went into my
room and played Tigermilk. By the end of it I was ready for anything... It
was so good I just had to rewind the tape and listen to it all again...

On a completely off-topic note, does anyone out there know anything about
a band called Gravel? Like, how long have they been around, are they
signed etc? They supported Hofman (aka Blur without decent tunes) here
last night, at about 30 minutes notice because neither of the support
bands had turned up, and they were impressively good. All I know about
them is what I gleaned last night - namely, that they're from Peterboro
and that the singer looks like Ian Brown. And they sound like a cross
between snow patrol and the Wonderstuff.

Oh, and is anyone out there going to the Pulp fandango in Finsbury Park
in a fortnight?
