the smiths are overrated and were so since the release of, ooh, for
arguments sake let's today just say meat is murder. they're not as
overrated as the beatles, for what that's worth, but overrated all the
same, regardless of whether they might have changed my life, which they
probably did in some way, but it's too long ago, too hazy and too dull
to think about.

now saying that B&S are overrated, now that would be a dreadful thing to
say.
